Why
depth.

Digital presence built with technical rigour and full focus on delivery. These are the reasons we work the way we work.

I
14 days is a discipline, not a deadline

When the process spans 14 days, every one of them has a name and a deliverable. There is no room for endless iteration or revisions that accumulate without direction. The tight calendar is intentional — it forces clarity in every decision, from the first call to the last commit.

II
Efficiency that reaches the client

We operate with a lean cost structure — no physical office, no management layers that do not produce code. Every euro we save on overhead stays in the project: better engineering, more capable tools, a fairer price. The client gets more because we spend better.

III
Performance is not an optional extra

Lighthouse 95+, LCP below 1.5 seconds, CLS zero. These are not aspirational targets — they are the starting point of every project we deliver. A fast site ranks better, converts more and represents the company behind it more effectively. It is the minimum the work demands.

IV
Open code, client's choice

At the end of every project, the code belongs to the client. No recurring licences, no platforms that create dependency, no systems that are hard to continue. Astro, TypeScript, Node.js — open, documented tools. What happens next is always the client's decision, made with complete freedom.

V
Remote-first, full focus

We work remotely by conviction. No commuting, no time lost in logistics, no energy spent on anything that is not the project. The team is distributed but focused — rigorous async communication, documented deliverables, feedback that moves forward rather than in circles.

VI
Depth as a working standard

ōku comes from 奥 — what lies beyond the surface. It is the standard we apply to everything: information architecture, typographic choices, the way we test performance. We do not do surface-level work, even when that would be faster. Quality is the destination — and the only one we care about.
